Calling the Vision Quest for a workshop is a little strange, but otherwise the ones who do not know this “Sacred adventure” will maybe never find it in here, so…
The Vision Quest process can be devided in three parts: preparation/Vision Quest/reintegration (to your world and everyday things). You can choose from 24 hours’s Quest, to more days.
The Quest is a very important transformation process (or RITE OF PASSAGE). It is held outdoor, so one gets “exposed” to Weather and Nature: it comes from our brothers and sisters American Red Indians. You sit in a defined circle, fasting, (only with water to drink, in some traditions without), with no distraction, and with different purpose/INTENTION.
Purposes could be many: to be alone with yourself and Nature, to meet Silence, to reflect over and find alternatives/solutions about a particular theme or a specific challenge in your Life, to “cleanse” yourself and re-start “fresh” from previous patterns (and addictions), to break free, to understand your mission, to contact the Spirit world, to pray for someone or something, to surrender to Life or Spirit, “to cry for a Vision” (Indian traditional), and more.
In exceptional case you can do it with a “direction”, and without a clear intention: lets talk.
You will go through some CLENSING, HEALING and TRANSFORMING PROCESS however, regardless of how long time you choose to do it for.
IT IS A GIFT FOR LIFE.
It is better to have a minimum knowledge of shamanic practice (but, if you do not have it, I can help you by a “simple” introduction). Like with the Sweatlodge, your preparation will start in advance, in this case at least one/two months ( if possible, to be agreed), but if “acute need” comes, we will figure it out.
I recomend this ritual to you, and the SWEATLODGE as well.
It can be arranged ANY TIME YOU NEED, providing we agree when/where/how long (and we are sensible and ready for the danish weather:). Are you three people interested, I can come by you.
In wintertime it can be arranged indoor, even it is very different, it can be fruitful too.
