If we met a wounded Child,

or a wounded Animal,

it would touch our Heart…

We would feel Compassion,

we would do anything to help.

At times we meet our Inner Child,

who is also hurt and wounded.

At times we embrace it, listen to it,

and work together.

At times we treat it like a hindrance,

and try to cover it up,

or make it disappear.

What is the difference

between the wounded Kid or Animal,

and our own?
